SI-1 Fuel Cleaner from Red Line uses a concentrated blend of high-temp and low-temp detergents. It cleans injectors, carburetors, valves, and combustion chamber deposits in one treatment. It works on all types of fuel injectors, including direct injection (GDI) systems. One bottle per tank gives the most effective treatment and cleans injectors to nearly 100% efficiency. Many enthusiasts and workshops regard it as one of the best fuel system cleaners available.
This cleaner also enhances fuel stability and reduces gum and varnish formation in the fuel system. It contains a synthetic upper cylinder lubricant, which helps protect valves and rings while it cleans. It cleans deposits from intake valves and combustion chambers. As a result, it can reduce your engine’s octane requirement by up to two points. It also cleans pollution control valves as part of the same treatment. A dirty fuel system can cost you power and fuel economy long before a warning light ever appears.
