Redline RL700 Brake Fluid has the highest boiling point of any road-legal brake fluid ever produced. Its dry boiling point reaches 635°F (335°C), and its wet boiling point holds at 401°F (205°C). Red Line built this racing formula specifically for demanding track conditions, where brake systems run far hotter than on the street. It also stays fluid in cold conditions, with a viscosity of 1493 cSt at -40°C. That keeps pedal feel consistent even on a cold morning at the track.
This fluid resists brake fade and vapor lock even under sustained heavy braking. Exceptionally low compressibility keeps your pedal feel firm and consistent, lap after lap. It conforms to and exceeds U.S. FMVSS No. 116 DOT 4 and SAE J1704 specifications, so it’s fully street legal as well as track ready. Because it’s engineered for racing, it also suits fast road cars and track day cars. Any braking system that sees high sustained temperatures benefits too. Its near-neutral pH of 7.18 also helps protect rubber seals over the fluid’s service life.
For best results, bleed your braking system with fresh fluid before each race. This matters most if your brakes run hot or conditions are humid. Don’t mix this fluid with other brake fluids, as that can compromise its performance. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, and that lowers its boiling point. Regular bleeding matters more in racing than in everyday driving.
This 500ml bottle suits a full system bleed on most performance and race cars. It’s a DOT 4 fluid, so it suits most existing brake systems. Always check your vehicle’s specified fluid type first.
