This Nissan GTR 4.625 Ring and Pinion is a Neat F160 crown wheel and pinion set built for R32, R33, and R34 GTR front differentials. Specifically, Neat manufactures it from stronger EN36C case-hardened steel. As a result, it then profile grinds the set after heat treatment for a tighter, more consistent gear mesh than a standard replacement set.
In particular, Neat cuts the splines by hobbing, which produces a stronger spline than other cutting methods. Overall, the result is a gear set built to handle sustained high-RPM use. It avoids the wear issues that come with a lower-spec replacement set under hard driving.
This set suits R32, R33, and R34 GTR front differentials specifically.
