This Holden Colorado bearing kit rebuilds the rear differential on RG-series Colorados built between 2012 and 2020. Worn carrier and pinion bearings are one of the most common causes of diff whine, so this kit gives you everything you need to fix it properly the first time.

Rear diff bearings wear out gradually, so the symptoms often build slowly: a rising whine under load, a grinding noise at speed. Left unchecked, worn bearings let the ring and pinion run out of alignment, which accelerates wear on the gears themselves.
Because this kit includes a new pinion collapsible spacer, fitting it correctly means resetting pinion bearing preload during installation — the spacer crushes as you tighten the pinion nut, so we recommend this job for an experienced diff mechanic or your local workshop.
