The Harrop E-Locker Toyota front diff lock gives you traction the moment you ask for it. Because it behaves as a normal open differential until you need grip, everyday driving feels exactly as it always did. Then, when the going gets rough, you flick the in-dash switch and both front wheels drive together.
Harrop developed the ELocker alongside Eaton, so the locking mechanism is electromagnetic rather than air-operated. As a result there is no compressor, no airlines and no external module to find room for. Once locked, it captures 100% of the available torque and then sends it equally to both ends of the axle.
Inside, precision-forged gears mesh perfectly, which gives better strength than a standard cut gear. In addition, the 4-pinion design spreads the load evenly, while the centre itself is rebuildable rather than throwaway. Installation is drop-in, so a competent workshop will fit it without modifying your housing.

Every kit ships with the ELocker centre, all required wiring harness with convoluted tubing, an in-dash switch with covers, and cable ties so the loom stays tidy. Therefore you have everything needed for the fit in one box.
However, the ratio matters. This Harrop E-Locker Toyota unit suits 3.73 and numerically lower. If you are running 3.91 or higher, such as 4.10, 4.30 or 4.55, then you need the 3.91 & Up version instead. Not sure which you have? Get in touch and we will work it out with you.
