Redline CV-2 Grease is a synthetic extreme-pressure grease built for wheel bearings, U-joints, and high-angle CV joints. It contains a red moly compound, which outperforms traditional black moly disulfide lubricants. Racing teams in Formula 1, NASCAR, and WRC rely on it for extreme temperature and pressure protection. It handles conditions that push conventional or synthetic greases past their limits. Engine builders and technicians trust it because it consistently outperforms both petroleum and synthetic alternatives on the bench. That reputation carries over from the racetrack to everyday driveway servicing.
Redline CV-2 Grease works across a huge temperature range, from -100°F to 500°F. Its synthetic fluidity increases bearing life by 200% to 800% compared with ordinary grease. It also resists oxidation, corrosion, and water washout, and it has minimal effect on rubber seals. Because of this stability, the grease keeps its consistency and extreme-pressure performance under sustained high-shear conditions. Beyond automotive use, technicians also use it for chassis lubrication. It also suits high-temperature industrial equipment, including alternator bearings, conveyor bearings, and worm gear drives. It passes ASTM D1743 rust testing too, adding confidence for parts serviced only occasionally.
Note: this grease will darken slightly after high-temperature use, but that colour change doesn’t affect performance. Before applying it, clean out old grease thoroughly to avoid abrasive particles or grease incompatibility. It’s available in a 14oz Jar or a 14oz Tube, so you can pick the format that suits your workshop. Not sure if CV-2 Grease suits your application? Get in touch and we’ll help you choose.
