The Ford Ranger PK/PJ & Mazda BT-50 DiscTrac LSD is a high-performance helical limited slip differential designed to improve traction, stability, and drivability both on and off the road. Whether your vehicle is used for daily driving, towing, touring and beach work, the DiscTrac LSD helps put power to the ground more effectively.
Unlike traditional clutch-style LSDs, the DiscTrac uses a patented helical gear design to automatically transfer torque to the wheel with the most grip. This provides smooth and predictable operation without clutch plates to wear out or require servicing.
The DiscTrac Helical LSD is manufactured from forged billet 2MNCR5 material and features a seven-pinion helical gear design for excellent strength and durability. Under acceleration, the differential continuously biases torque to the tyre with the most traction, helping reduce wheel spin and improve vehicle control.
This makes the DiscTrac LSD an excellent upgrade for both standard and modified vehicles.
